INGREDIENTS
SHRIMP-INFUSED VODKA
1 cup vodka
1 tsp dry shrimp powder or 1 Tbsp dried shrimp
1 strip lemon peel
FOR THE MARTINI
2 1/2 oz shrimp-infused vodka
1/2 oz dry vermouth, optional
Dash lemon juice or 2 drops lemon oil
Ice
GARNISH
Skewered chilled boiled shrimp
Lemon twist
Optional Cajun sea salt rim
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make the Shrimp-Infused Vodka
Combine vodka, dry shrimp, and lemon peel in a jar or glass container. Infuse for 10 minutes for a light flavor or up to overnight for deeper shrimp character. Strain thoroughly before using.
2. Build the Martini
Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add shrimp-infused vodka, dry vermouth if using, and lemon juice or lemon oil. Stir 20–30 seconds until well chilled.
3. Serve and Garnish
Strain into a chilled martini glass. Add lemon twist and place shrimp skewer across the rim. Finish with an optional light Cajun sea salt rim.
