Nicole’s Chantilly Berry Cocktail | Cajun 911 Cuisine
Inspired by the flavors of classic Chantilly cake, this berry-forward cocktail blends fresh fruit with a silky vanilla cream base for a drink that’s light, floral, and dessert-like. Designed to work beautifully as either a cocktail or mocktail, it’s an elegant choice for brunches, celebrations, showers, or the Cajun 911 Cat-Tail Lounge menu.
INGREDIENTS
BERRY BASE
1 cup mixed berries such as raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries
1–2 Tbsp sugar or honey
1 tsp lemon juice
Optional splash berry syrup
CHANTILLY CREAM BLEND
1/2 cup half-and-half or evaporated milk
1 Tbsp vanilla syrup or 1 tsp vanilla extract plus 1 tsp sugar
1–2 Tbsp berry syrup
1 Tbsp simple syrup, optional
Ice
ALCOHOL OPTION
1–2 oz vanilla vodka, whipped vodka, coconut rum, or champagne or prosecco topper
MOCKTAIL OPTION
Splash sparkling water, lemon soda, or cream soda
CHANTILLY CREAM BLEND
Whipped cream
Fresh berries
Mint
Lemon zest
Berry drizzle
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Prepare the Berries
Combine berries, sugar or honey, and lemon juice in a bowl. Let sit 5–10 minutes until juices release and berries soften.
2. Prepare the Chantilly Blend
In a shaker or bowl, combine half-and-half or evaporated milk, vanilla syrup or vanilla extract mixture, berry syrup, and optional simple syrup. Shake or whisk with ice until chilled.
3. Assemble the Cocktail
Spoon macerated berries into the bottom of a glass. Add ice. Pour the Chantilly cream blend over ice. Top with champagne, prosecco, or sparkling water if using.
4. Garnish and Serve
Finish with whipped cream, fresh berries, mint, lemon zest, or berry drizzle. Serve immediately.
