Mexican Salad Beef Taco Martini | Cajun 911 Cuisine
This playful, elegant Taco Martini layers seasoned beef, crisp lettuce, creamy avocado, a cool Cajun crema, and fresh tomato wedges finished with sea salt. Served in a martini glass with a chili-lime or Cajun-seasoned rim, it’s a festive appetizer that delivers bright flavor, clean texture, and signature Cajun 911 flair.
INGREDIENTS
SEASONED BEEF
1 lb ground beef
1 Tbsp taco seasoning or mild Cajun seasoning plus cumin
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
SALAD INGREDIENTS
2 cups shredded lettuce, romaine or iceberg
Fresh tomato wedges, sprinkled with sea salt
1/2 cup shredded cheese, Mexican blend, cheddar, or Colby Jack
1 large avocado, diced
Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Lime wedges, for serving
OPTIONAL ADD-INS

Crushed tortilla chips
CAJUN CREMA DRESSING
1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1–2 Tbsp lime juice
1 tsp taco seasoning or mild Cajun seasoning
1 Tbsp salsa or pico de gallo
Pinch salt and pepper
GLASS RIM
Chili-lime seasoning or Cajun seasoning
Lime wedge, for rimming
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Prepare the Glasses
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each martini glass. Dip the rims into chili-lime seasoning or Cajun seasoning. Set aside.
2. Cook the Beef
Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat. Season with taco seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and allow to cool slightly before assembling.
3. Make the Cajun Crema
Whisk together sour cream or Greek yogurt, lime juice, seasoning, salsa, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
4. Prepare the Fresh Ingredients
Shred the lettuce. Dice the avocado. Slice tomato wedges and sprinkle lightly with sea salt. Shred the cheese and chop cilantro.
5. Assemble the Taco Martini
Layer into each martini glass in this order: shredded lettuce, seasoned beef, avocado, shredded cheese, sea-salted tomato wedges, and a drizzle of Cajun crema. Finish with optional crushed tortilla chips.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and a lime wedge. Serve immediately.
