This Cajun 911 garlic lime aioli is bright, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Fresh lime juice and zest cut through the richness of the base while garlic adds savory depth. Smooth and versatile, this aioli pairs effortlessly with seafood, tacos, fries, roasted vegetables, and grilled meats.

INGREDIENTS 

 

Aioli

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 Tbsp sour cream

1 large garlic clove, grated or minced

1–2 Tbsp fresh lime juice, to taste

1/2 tsp lime zest

Pinch of salt

Black pepper, to taste

Optional: tiny pinch of sugar or honey

Optional: pinch of paprika for color

  

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Combine the Base

Mix mayonnaise and sour cream in a bowl until smooth and fully combined.

2. Add Flavorings

Add garlic, lime juice, lime zest, salt, and black pepper. Stir well until evenly mixed.

3. Adjust and Chill

Taste and adjust lime or garlic as needed. Chill for 10–20 minutes to allow flavors to bloom.

4. Serve

Serve as a dipping sauce or spread.

  • Serve with shrimp, crab cakes, or fish bites

  • Use as a taco or sandwich spread

  • Pair with fries, hushpuppies, or roasted vegetables

NOTES
  • Roasted garlic creates a milder, sweeter flavor

  • Keeps 3–4 days refrigerated

  • Add chopped cilantro for a fresh twist

  •  Add Cajun seasoning for heat if desired
