INGREDIENTS 

 

For the Cocktail

2 oz white rum or coconut rum

1 1/2 oz cream of coconut

1 oz half-and-half or evaporated milk

1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla syrup

Juice of 1/4 lime, optional

Ice

 

For the Rim, Optional

Honey or simple syrup

Toasted shredded coconut

 

Garnish 

Lime wheel

Toasted coconut

Optional: light dusting of cinnamon 

 

INSTRUCTIONS

 

1. Prepare the Glass

Dip the rim of a coupe or rocks glass into honey or simple syrup, then roll in toasted coconut. Chill the glass while preparing the cocktail.

2. Build the Cocktail

Add rum, cream of coconut, half-and-half or evaporated milk, vanilla, and lime juice to a shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until frothy.

3. Serve

Strain into the chilled glass. Top with toasted coconut or a light dusting of cinnamon and garnish with a lime wheel.
